The applicability of Android is different vertical space is limited only to our imagation due to the open source nature of the product. One of the interesting thing that is being developed by Virginia Tech is a system that access certain data only when they’re in a given physical location, and wipes that data from their memories when they leave. There is no such customized Android product out there in the market and I can see the application of such Android system is tremendous in terms of security and privacy. The system is being developed by Jules White, assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering at Virginia Tech. Jules is working with graduate students Paul N. Miranda of Columbia, S.C., and Danny Guymon of Fredericksburg, Va., who are both working on master’s degrees in electrical and computer engineering; and Hamilton Turner of Nashville, working on a Ph.D. degree.
